Restoring China Plate

When choosing the method of restoring china, it is important to note that not only the effectiveness of repair should come into play but also the quality of the china. Every grain of expensive or rare china is precious, so the restorer should take extra precautions when gluing and bonding the broken pieces, especially if some of the pieces have been sculpted by the restorer.  For this delicate Picasso platter we had to sculpt a lot of small fragments to make sure that no damage is done to the broken pieces sent to us by the owner of this porcelain plate.
